Tempers were high near the end of the Oregon State-Oregon rivalry game Saturday, with several players involved in a fight in the fourth quarter. Flags and fists were flying as both benches cleared and received unsportsmanlike conduct penalties.

One Beavers player was even ejected for his role in the incident. An Oregon lineman can be seen rolling around on the ground as a mass of people fight above him.

The Ducks went on to win the game, 38-29 to claim their 10th victory of the year. They will move on next week to face Utah for the Pac-12 championship. Meanwhile, the Beavers finished the season 7-5 and will now have a week off as they await their bowl destination.

Oregon quarterback Anthony Brown led the way to the victory, finishing with 275 yards passing and three total touchdowns. The Ducks have now won 11 of the past 13 meetings against Oregon State.

The Ducks jumped out to an early 14-0 lead and never looked but, taking a 24-6 advantage into halftime. The Beavers found themselves down 31-9 early in the fourth quarter, but put together their best comeback attempt.

They scored three touchdowns in the final quarter, but converted just one two-point conversion. After driving 75 yards, Oregon State quarterback Chance Nolan punched in the final touchdown of the game with a little more than a minute to play.

Although Oregon is out of the College Football Playoff conversation following a Week 12 loss to Utah, the Ducks still have a New Year’s Six bowl bid on the line. They will attempt to put the fight with Oregon State behind them as they close out the season.

They will face a quick turnaround against the Utes. Kickoff for the Pac-12 Championship Game is set for 8 p.m. ET on Friday in Las Vegas.
