The Oregon Ducks have dropped their uniforms ahead of this weekend’s matchup against the Colorado Buffaloes and they are absolute beauties.

Check them out below.

It looks like the Ducks will be rocking black and electric yellow this week. They’re going with black and yellow gloves. The helmets appear to be a black matte finish with the yellow wings on the side. Their tops will be electric yellow, but they will be wearing black pants, along with black cleats.

The school has updated the wings on the helmets of Oregon’s uniforms, have added a similar design of a flying Duck that’s inside the football complex that honors all former Oregon players that have been drafted to the NFL.

Here’s another picture of the uniforms below.

Brock Brames pointed out a very subtle element in the uniforms below on Twitter.

That’s a great eye for detail by Brames. Nice work on pointing that out.

Oregon’s 2021 season outlook

Regardless of the opponent every game is now a big one for Ducks. Oregon currently sits at 6-1 overall and is ranked No. 7 in the nation. The Ducks might have an outside chance at a playoff spot but would certainly need some help squeaking in.

College football is crazy and downright chaotic, so anything can happen on any given Saturday.

Travis Dye

One player who has stepped up big lately for Oregon is running back Travis Dye, the brother of former UCLA stud Tony Dye. Tony Dye was named All-Pac-12 honorable mention his junior season with the Bruins. If it weren’t for a serious neck injury, he likely would have gone on to have a much longer career in the NFL. Tony was a former Under Armour All-American coming out of Santiago High School (Corona, California).

Travis Dye had four rushing touchdowns for Oregon in their impressive 34-31 win over UCLA last Saturday. He only had just over 60 all-purpose yards in the game, but he did his damage in the end zone.

Duck fans are hoping Dye can continue to step up in the place of fellow backfield mate C.J. Verdell, who is out for the season with a lower leg injury.

The Oregon Ducks face the Colorado Buffaloes on Saturday. Kickoff is 3:30 p.m. EST in Eugene.
