2024 tight end Wyatt Hook commits to Oregon State
San Jose (Calif.) Homestead 2024 tight end Wyatt Hook has committed to Oregon State, he announced on Thursday morning.
Hook chose the Beavers over offers from Colorado, Washington State and California, among others.
“First, I would like to thank my dad for always pushing me to be the best version of myself I can be,” Hook wrote on Twitter. “I would also like to thank my coaches, teammates, and friends for being there for me on and off the field. Most importantly I want to say thank you to Coach Woz and Coach Smith for believing in me from the very beginning of this process. Playing college football has been a lifelong dream and Oregon State could not be a better place. I am excited to announce my commitment to Oregon State University.”
The 6-foot-6, 230-pounder is the No. 688 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 31 tight end and the No. 78 junior recruit in the state of California.
Hooks is the Beavers’ first commitment in the 2024 recruiting cycle.
