3-star LB Isaiah Chisom commits to Oregon State
Los Angeles (Calif.) Chaminade three-star linebacker Isaiah Chisom has committed to Oregon State. He chose the Beavers over California, Fresno State, USC and Utah.
Chisom is the No. 1,224 overall prospect and No. 110 linebacker in the 2023 On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 112 player in California.

The Beavers’ 2023 recruiting class now has 16 commitments. It ranks No. 54 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 7 in the Pac-12.
The group is composed of one four-star, 13 three-stars and two unranked prospects. Oregon State’s highest-ranked recruit is Las Vegas (Nev.) Spring Valley four-star defensive lineman Kelze Howard, the No. 284 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.
Chisom took two official visits during his recruiting process. The first was to Oregon State on June 3 and the second was to California on June 16.

More on Oregon State’s 2023 class after Chisom’s commitment
Chisom is the only linebacker currently committed to the Beavers. He is Oregon State’s second commitment this month alongside Placerville (Calif.) Placer offensive tackle Zander Esty.
The Beavers had a strong July on the recruiting trail. They notched pledges from Howard, Carthage (Tex.) three-star wide receiver Montrel Hatten, Margate (Fla.) Dillard three-star wide receiver Tastean Reddicks, Federal Way (Wash.) three-star cornerback Andre Piper-Jordan Jr., Clearwater (Fla.) Sweden three-star defensive lineman Thomas Collins and Manvel (Texas) cornerback Jalen O’Neal.
Oregon State also landed multiple commitments in June. They were from Billings (Mont.) Billings West three-star Jacob Anderson, Pittsburg (Calif.) three-star wide receiver Zachary Card, Lakewood (Wash.) three-star wide receiver David Wells, Downey (Calif.) three-star quarterback Aidan Chiles and West Palm Beach (Fla.) The King’s Academy three-star EDGE Zakiah Saez.
