2025 4-star LB Dayshaun Burnett commits to Penn State
Pittsburgh Imani Christian Academy four-star linebacker Dayshaun Burnett has committed to Penn State.
He chose the Nittany Lions over West Virginia, Kentucky, Pitt and Rutgers.
Burnett is the No. 314 overall prospect and No. 37 LB in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 11 player in Pennsylvania.

After getting Burnett to Happy Valley for multiple visits in each of the past two years, Penn State has now nabbed its latest in-state commitment. He was also visited at his school by PSU head coach James Franklin.
The addition of Burnett brings the Nittany Lions to 10 commits in the 2025 cycle. The class now features five four-star recruits and ranks inside the top 15 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
