Washington (D.C.) Gonzaga four-star defensive lineman DD Holmes has picked up an offer from Penn State.

He is the No. 132 overall recruit in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

The 2024 On300 ranking has him ranked higher as the No. 70 prospect in the land. The only player from Washington D.C. ranked ahead of him is Friendship Collegiate Academy four-star EDGE Dylan Stewart, the No. 4 recruit in the On300.

Penn State joins a long list of programs in pursuit of Holmes, including Maryland, Rutgers, USC, Ole Miss and Boston College.

DD Holmes currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $54k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
