Potomac (Md.) Quince Orchard four-star EDGE Jaylen Harvey has announced his commitment to the Penn State Nittany Lions.

Harvey was in attendance for Penn State’s White Out win over Iowa, at least his 11th trip to State College. The Nittany Lions have put together an impressive season, sitting at 6-0 heading into its road clash with Ohio State. Its recruiting class is just as impressive, ranking inside the top 15 of the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Harvey is the 15th four-star recruit to join this talented Penn State recruiting class.

He is the nation’s No. 362 overall prospect and No. 33 EDGE in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Harvey is also the No. 10 player in Maryland.

He does not currently have a publicly listed On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
