Beau Pribula played high school football at York (Pa.) Central York, where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 461 overall player and No. 26-ranked quarterback from the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
One of Pribula’s biggest games of the year came in late October when Penn State took on Wisconsin. Allar left with an injury late in the first half, opening the door for Pribula to take over, and he delivered. The sophomore threw for 98 yards and a touchdown, while adding 28 rushing yards, to help the Nittany Lions get the victory at Camp Randall Stadium.
Penn State put together a solid season en route to its first Big Ten Championship appearance since 2016. The Nittany Lions’ only regular-season loss came to Ohio State, and when the Buckeyes lost to Michigan on the final day of the year, PSU defeated Maryland to punch its ticket to Indianapolis. That set up a matchup against Oregon.
