On3 rates him as a four-star prospect and the country’s No. 28 interior offensive lineman.
The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder was previously committed to Washington under previous head coach Jimmy Lake. But he opted to decommit in mid-December ahead of the Early Signing Period. Vega Ioane visited Minnesota prior to that, and he also has a visit set to UCLA for January 28, the final weekend before the February signing period opens.
Penn State currently has 23 prospects signed and one committed in its 2022 class. But the Nittany Lions are without an interior offensive lineman. Their class ranks No. 7 nationally, according to the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings.
