Four-Star Safety Vaboue Toure commits to Penn State
Four-star safety Vaboue Toure of Irvington (NJ) High announced his commitment to Penn State Friday afternoon.
The 6-foot-1, 195 pounder chose the Nittany Lions over Kentucky, Oklahoma, and Ohio State.
Toure on why he chose Penn State
“I’d say what stood out about Penn State in the end was just the way that it felt like a home since the first time I ever visited,” Toure said. “This is the right place for me!”
Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for Vaboue Toure
“I’d say the coach I’m closest with is Coach Poindexter and their plan for me is to play as an alley safety.”
The New Jersey defensive back joins coach James Franklin and the Nittany Lions’ top 15 class in the 2024 team rankings. He is accompanied by four-star athlete Quinton Martin, four-star cornerback Jon Mitchell, and others.
