They’ve dropped two of their last three games to Rutgers and No. 6 Purdue, respectively. Against the Scarlet Knights, Iowa only managed to put up 46 points. The one game they’ve won — was against Penn State 68-51 on Jan. 22 in impressive fashion.
Penn State (3-6, Big 10) is sitting directly behind Iowa in the standings, but remains fifth from the bottom. The Nittany Lions relied heavily on their leading score Jalen Pickett in their losing efforts to the Hawkeyes two Saturdays ago — no other player scored more than eight. If Penn State doesn’t want a repeat of their last meeting, production from more than just Pickett is mandatory.
