Penn State head coach James Franklin traveled down to the Peach State on Thursday to watch Savannah (Ga.) Benedictine Military School three-star quarterback and Florida State commit Luke Kromenhoek.

Kromenhoek is the No. 442 overall recruit and No. 33 in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He currently has an On3 NIL Valuation of $8.3k. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

Kromenhoek has been committed to the Seminoles since March. He recently talked with On3 Director of Recruiting Chad Simmons about his commitment and where he is in his recruitment at this moment.

He mentioned that Penn State is trying to get him up to Pennsylvania for the game against Ohio State.

But he maintained that he is still strong with Florida State.

“I really love the program,” Kromenhoek told On3. “I love where they’re heading. I’ve had a great relationship with the coaches, (head) coach (MikeNorvell and the quarterback(s) coach, coach (TonyTokarz. So I love it where I’m at there and I love that program and I am very strong with them. But the recruiting game, it’s weird and college football’s weird, so just gotta keep an open mind in case something happens.”
