2024 TE Luke Reynolds commits to Penn State
Westford (Mass.) Cheshire Academy three-star tight end Luke Reynolds committed to Penn State Saturday afternoon. He announced the news on Twitter.
Reynolds is the No. 977 overall prospect and No. 47 tight end in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 9 player in Connecticut.
Reynolds isn’t ranked in the 2024 On300, but he On3 ranks him as the No. 33 tight end and the No. 8 player in Connecticut. Reynolds was previously a quarterback but will transition to tight end this year and at the next level.
Last weekend Reynolds visited Penn State and walked away from that visit with an offer from James Franklin.
“It’s an important one,” Reynolds told BWI’s Ryan Snyder, when asked what an offer from Penn State meant to him and his recruitment. “It’s well-known program with a lot of history. I’m definitely excited.”
