4-star PF Miles Goodman commits to Penn State
Miles Goodman, a four-star power forward in the 2024 class, has committed to Penn State.
The 6-foot-10, 220-pound senior out of Southern California Academy ultimately chose the Nittany Lions over Washington. He also received offers from Cal, Georgetown, TCU, Texas Tech, and others.
“I chose Penn State because I felt welcomed on the visit,” Goodman said to On3. “The coaches showed a lot of love and I could see myself playing there.”
In his own words, what type of player is Penn State getting in Miles Goodman?
“I block shots well and catch lobs. I have a high motor, can guard 1-5, and can score off the triple threat and hit jumpers.”

Goodman Scouting Report
“Miles Goodman has a great frame. Standing around 6-10, he has good length with projectability. Goodman moves well, you see the upside he brings on the defensive end. He moves his feet well and has good timing. He is still raw, and needs game reps. He shows good hands and has some touch with shooting range. This is an upside play, and you can see the path as he continues to develop. There are some natural qualities he brings and as he continues to add weight and strength you should continue to see added production. There is intrigue here.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw
