Midlothian (Texas) four-star wide receiver Bryant Wesco received an offer from Penn State on Wednesday. He announced the news over social media.

Wesco is the No. 218 overall prospect and No. 34 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 35 player in Texas.

On3 rates Wesco higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 27 overall prospect, No. 6 wide receiver and No. 6 player in Texas.

The 6-foot-2, 180-pound wideout holds 12 offers. According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, it is a close race for his commitment between TCU (48.6%) and Oklahoma (42.5%).

RPM was released to the public in December. The On3 engineering group teamed up with Spiny.ai to create the industry’s first algorithm and machine learning-based product to predict where athletes will attend college.

It factors in machine learning, social sentiment, visits and historical trends. However, expert predictions are still a big piece of the RPM equation.

The Nittany Lions currently have two commitments in their 2024 recruiting class. They are Erie (Penn) McDowell four-star interior offensive lineman Cooper Cousins and Pittsburgh (Penn.) Central Catholic four-star linebacker Anthony Speca.

Wesco has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.9K. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
