Penn State wide receiver Harrison Wallace expected to enter NCAA transfer portal
According to CBS Sports’ Matt Zenitz, Penn State wide receiver Harrison Wallace is expected to enter the NCAA transfer portal. Wallace was the Nittany Lions’ top receiver from last season, significantly contributing through a Big Ten Championship appearance and the College Football Playoff.
Wide receiver is already a position of need for head coach James Franklin next season, needing better weapons around Drew Allar. Wallace deciding to leave the program is a huge loss for Penn State and other teams will now make a run at him.

This was Wallace’s fourth year at Penn State, just wrapping up his redshirt junior season. In 15 games this season, he caught 46 passes for 720 yards and four touchdowns for the Nittany Lions. Nothing was better than the season opener against West Virginia where Wallace put up season highs with five receptions, 117 yards, and two touchdowns.
Wherever Wallace makes home for the 2025 season, he will have one year of eligibility remaining.
Wallace played high school football at Pike Road (AL), where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 239 overall recruit in the 2021 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
