A celebration for Saquon Barkley and his Super Bowl LIX win with the Eagles on Sunday evening might wrap up quicker than anticipated thanks to law enforcement activity in the area.

According to Onward State, a Penn State news organization, State College Police Department Chief of Police John Gardner released a statement warning the crowds on Beaver Avenue about an “unlawful assembly.”

A rather forceful warning to disperse came as thousands flooded into the streets to celebrate the Eagles’ victory.

“If you do not [disperse], you may be arrested for violation of PA Crimes Code Title 18 sections 5507 A and b l i, the first being a misdemeanor 3 and the second being a summary offense being committed in our presence,” the statement read. “Persons remaining in the area may also be subject to other police action including the use of kinetic energy projectiles and chemical agents, which include: tear gas, CN, CS, pepper balls, pepper spray or OC. Use of these devices could result in serious injury.”

Jalen Hurts named Super Bowl LIX MVP for Eagles

Quarterback Jalen Hurts has been named Super Bowl LIX MVP after the Philadelphia Eagles defeated the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday’s game at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.

Hurts was honored with The Pete Rozelle Trophy after a remarkable performance.

Jalen Hurts finished 17-of-22 passing for 221 yards, with two touchdowns and one interception. Perhaps more importantly, he ran for 72 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries, frequently moving the chains by slipping free from the pocket and picking up key first downs.

The former Alabama and Oklahoma quarterback has been doubted throughout his career, but he has answered those question marks with a firm statement by winning the Super Bowl.

And already the message to the haters was being fired off in a snappy new Jordan Brand commercial.
