Texas A&M transfer edge rusher Enai White committed to the Penn State Nittany Lions on Friday night, he told On3’s Hayes Fawcett. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.

After playing in 12 games across his first two seasons with the Aggies, White saw his role diminish in 2024, playing in just one game. Penn State is in the middle of preparing for their first round College Football Playoff matchup against SMU. And the Nittany Lions have been trying to figure out their roster for next season. They recently had backup quarterback Beau Pribula enter the transfer portal.

White’s 2023 season ended in November due to injury.

White was a four-star prospect in the 2022 signing class. He was also a Top 100 prospect in the class. He was the No. 7 edge rusher in the country and the No. 2 player in the state of Pennsylvania. Before ultimately deciding on signing with Texas A&M, AlabamaGeorgia, and Ohio State were the other two finalists.

Texas A&M landed a notable quarterback transfer

Former UAB quarterback Jacob Zeno recently announced his transfer commitment to Texas A&M. He took a visit to the school earlier this month per On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

Zeno will be on his 7th year of college football following three years at Baylor and UAB. He played in 11 games in 2023, throwing for 3,126 yards, 20 touchdowns, nine interceptions and a 73.6% completion percentage.

Zeno only played in four games this past season, throwing for 819 yards, six touchdowns, five interceptions and a 69.5% completion percentage.

As a member of the Class of 2019, Zeno was a four-star recruit out of San Antonio (Texas) John Jay, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He was the No. 39 overall prospect in the state, the No. 24 quarterback in the class and the No. 342 overall prospect in the class.
