WATCH: Penn State crowd sings 'Livin' on a Prayer'
The Penn State crowd came together to sing Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” during a top 25 matchup against Auburn. Wearing all white, they created an intimidating environment for the No. 22 Tigers.
The atmosphere doesn’t appear to phase the Tigers, as Penn State entered halftime with a narrow 14-10 lead.
Auburn scored first on a 45-yard field goal from Anders Carlson to take an early 3-0 lead. But Penn State quickly answered with a touchdown pass from Sean Clifford to Jahan Dotson to take its first lead with 2:24 in the first quarter.
The Nittany Lions opened the third quarter with a quick touchdown to extend their lead to 11. However, Auburn responded on the next drive with a touchdown from running back Tank Bigsby — his second of the game — to make it 21-17 with 5:52 to go in the third quarter.
Penn State opened the season against Big Ten foe Wisconsin and earned an impressive 16-10 victory on the back of its defense. The Nittany Lions now appear to be the favorite to take the conference crown following Ohio State’s loss to Oregon this past week.

A victory for either team would be one of their biggest so far and improve their College Football Playoff resume. For Auburn, it would be a monumental win for coach Bryan Harsin in his first season.
If the Tigers hope to get there, they’ll have to shake off the Penn State crowd, which will surely sing, yell and cheer until the clock expires.
This is just one example of a rowdy crowd during this weekend in college football. The Florida Gators had 90,887 fans in attendance against No. 1 Alabama, the fifth-largest crowd in school history.
Crowds like this make college football more fun, and it’s a great sight after fans were either limited or not allowed a year ago. Unless you’re an Auburn fan or player, you’ve got to love what’s going on in Happy Valley.
