Although nothing would compare to experiencing Penn State’s Whiteout win against Auburn this past Saturday in person, the Nittany Lions gave fans perhaps the next best thing: a video. In a nearly six-minute long video recap of the victory posted to Twitter, you can experience it all over again.

With 109,958 fans in attendance (even though the capacity is 106,572), Penn State earned a hard-fought 28-20 victory that came down to the final quarter. Auburn cut the deficit to 21-20 after a field goal in the beginning of the fourth and it looked like we had a ball game.

But the Nittany Lions didn’t take long to answer. Running back Noah Cain’s three-yard touchdown run made it 28-20 with 10 minutes left to play. It would be the final touchdown of the game.

The victory jumped Penn State from No. 10 to No. 6 in the latest AP poll. It is now the second highest-ranked team in the Big Ten ahead of No. 10 Ohio State, which it will play on Oct. 30. It is also right behind No. 5 Iowa, which it sees on Oct. 9. That game could be a preview of the Big Ten Championship, if Penn State can also manage to beat the Buckeyes

Quarterback Sean Clifford looked incredibly efficient in the victory, completing 28-of-32 passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns. His performance earned the praise of coach James Franklin following the victory.

The Nittany Lions will look to keep their win streak alive when they face Villanova at noon ET on Saturday in another home game. After that they jump back into Big Ten play with a game against Indiana.

The Whiteout game has to be the craziest Penn State game thus far this season, and the video proves that. This team has plenty more time to prove itself this year, and college football fans can hardly wait to see what the atmosphere will look like in future weeks.
