WATCH: Penn State football drops Whiteout hype video
Penn State released a hype video via Twitter ahead of its top-25 matchup against Auburn on Saturday. The Nittany Lions are planning a Whiteout for the game, which will be featured on ESPN’s College GameDay.
Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET in Happy Valley.
The No. 10 Nittany Lions (2-0) already have one top-25 victory under their belt this year. They defeated No. 18 Wisconsin, 16-10, in the opening week.
Quarterback Sean Clifford leads the offense and has a knack for making teams pay both through the air and on the ground. In addition to 477 yards passing, he has 17 carries for 71 yards and three total touchdowns. He will likely look to feed top receiver Jahan Dotson, who has caught both of Clifford’s touchdown passes so far.
The defense is among the toughest in the country and has so far held opponents to 121.5 yards rushing per game.
No. 22 Auburn (2-0) is in its first season under coach Bryan Harsin. The Tigers have yet to face a real challenge this season, and in many ways this game is a chance for them to show what they’re made of.

Alabama LB announces plan to transfer
They have outscored their opponents 122-10 through the first two games, but considering it was Akron and Alabama State, it doesn’t hold a ton of weight.
True freshman running back Jarquez Hunter has already begun to make an impact. He earned the game ball in last week’s victory after setting the school record for longest touchdown run with a 94-yard scamper. He joins Tank Bigsby to form a strong backfield.
A strong performance from quarterback Bo Nix will perhaps be the biggest key to a Tigers victory. The junior has looked good through the first couple of games, but was prone to mistakes against tougher competition this past season.
Can he withstand the pressure from the crowd in what should be a hostile environment? If the hype video is any indication, Penn State will have all the support and momentum on its side in this one.
