“I want to thank the Providence family and coaching staff for the amazing time I had while being committed,” Davis said in a statement to On3. “After deep conversations with my family, I decided to reopen my recruitment and decommit from Providence College.”

Davis, a native of Baltimore, is the No. 110 overall prospect and No. 15 point guard in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
