3-star PG Daquan Davis decommits from Providence
Daquan Davis, a three-star point guard in the class of 2024, has decommitted from Providence.
The 6-foot-1 senior attending Overtime Elite (Ga.) committed to the Friars in June over a top group of Maryland, Notre Dame, and Mississippi State.

“I want to thank the Providence family and coaching staff for the amazing time I had while being committed,” Davis said in a statement to On3. “After deep conversations with my family, I decided to reopen my recruitment and decommit from Providence College.”
Davis, a native of Baltimore, is the No. 110 overall prospect and No. 15 point guard in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
