2024 EDGE Jaylin Jones commits to Purdue
Beaumont (Texas) West Brook three-star EDGE Jaylin Jones has committed to Purdue. He chose the Boilermakers over SMU.
Jones is the No. 864 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 63 EDGE and No. 137 player from Texas.
He took an official visit to West Lafayette on June 2, which helped the Boilermakers beat out the Mustangs for his commitment. Jones is the 21st pledge to Purdue’s class, which ranks No. 26 in the nation and No. 7 in the Big Ten. Outside linebackers coach Joe Dineen Jr. and defensive coordinator Kevin Kane led Purdue’s recruitment for the Texan.
