One of the most talented offensive linemen in the country will check out West Lafayette, Indiana on an official visit.

Gaffney (S.C.) four-star IOL Shed Sarratt announced on social media Monday evening that he will take an official visit to Purdue from June 11-13.

South Carolina currently trends for Sarratt in the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine (RPM) at 99.4 percent. Sarratt visited the in-state program just over a week ago and will take an official visit beginning June 21.

“The atmosphere was amazing,” Sarratt told On3. “I love how the coaches keep in touch. I love how it’s not that far from home.”

Sarratt said South Carolina is the program to beat for him.

“The blocking schemes they run we run in high school so it wouldn’t be that new to me,” he said.

Sarratt also visited Colorado over the weekend and earned an offer from the Buffs.

“The trip was fun,” Sarratt told On3. “Learning from an NFL player that was in the position that I’m in now makes it great. Exploring the city is what made it fun. I like how the program is centered around former NFL players.”

Sarratt is the nation’s No. 394 overall prospect, No. 32 IOL and No. 5 recruit from South Carolina in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 rates him higher than all of the other major recruiting services. He ranks No. 182 nationally and is the No. 12 interior offensive lineman in the 2025 On300.

Purdue looking to build on solid start in 2025 cycle

The Boilermakers are one of 10 programs with a five-star commitment in the 2025 class. Murfreesboro (Tenn.) Siegel five-star cornerback Tarrion Grant pledged to Purdue in January.

“Coach Ryan Walters and Coach Sam Carter recruit me and communicate with me,” Grant said. “They have been consistent, and I have been with Carter since day one. It started with him when he was at Ole Miss, and we just have that type of relationship. I know I want to play for him, and he is a coach that can develop me as a player and help me as a person.”

Purdue also holds commitments from Dallas Parish Episcopal three-star quarterback Sawyer Anderson, Belleville (Mich.) three-star EDGE Rashad Jones, Muncie (Ind.) Delta three-star EDGE Landon Brooks and Akron (Ohio) East three-star running back Ziaire Stevens.
