Purdue reoffers Arkansas 2024 4-star DL commit Kavion Henderson
Leeds (Ala.) four-star defensive lineman Kavion Henderson was reoffered by Purdue on Friday. He announced the news over social media.
Henderson is the No. 151 overall prospect and No. 14 defensive lineman in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 7 player in Alabama.
The 6-foot-1.5, 250-pound defender told On3’s Chad Simmons that he believes he can contribute immensely with the Razorbacks. He chose Sam Pittman‘s program over Alabama, Auburn, Georgia and Oklahoma among others.

“I wanted to go somewhere and make an impact,” Henderson said on Nov. 6. “They got a lot of great players there… They came through and I want to make a difference there at the EDGE position. I just want to make an impact and (I) see myself playing here along with some great players.”

“I decided to play here because they need EDGE guys,” he added. “Alabama, they already got what they got. They wanted to add more talent, but I just wanted to go to Arkansas to make a mark. Alabama’s already doing a great job. I just want to help (Arkansas) out. There’s belief in Arkansas. I want to let the people know and I think they’ll be excited too because it’s the best for me.”
