Four-star PF Baye Ndongo decommits from Rutgers
Denver (Colo.) Colorado Prep power forward Baye Ndongo has decommitted from Rutgers, he told On3.
The 6-foot-10, 220-pound prospect committed to the Scarlet Knights in January, beating out the likes of Colorado, Nebraska, Michigan, and San Diego.
Ndongo provided the following statement to On3:
“To start, I would like to thank the Rutgers coaching staff for giving me the opportunity to play the game I love and further my education at such an amazing university. However, after a lot of prayer and talking to my family and my support system, I have decided to de-commit and reopen my recruitment. Lastly, I wish nothing but the best for Rutgers University, the basketball program and the coaches.”
