Saint Joseph’s guard Xzayvier Brown has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal with a “do not contact” tag. He’s spent two seasons at Saint Joseph’s.

Brown started in 30 of his 32 appearances this season. He averaged 17.6 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 36.2 minutes per game. The 6-foot-2 sophomore shot 42.0% from the field and 35.0% from beyond the arc.

Brown ended his season on a high note, tallying 26 points, six rebounds and two steals in Saint Joe’s loss to George Mason in the Atlantic 10 Tournament semifinals. For his excellent play this season, Brown was named an All-Atlantic 10 First-Team selection.

Brown also had a spectacular debut campaign at the collegiate level. In the 2023-24 season, Brown averaged 12.7 points per game while shooting an efficient 40.4% from downtown. He was subsequently named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Year.

Xzayvier Brown played high school basketball at Roman Catholic (PA), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 248 overall player and No. 39 point guard in the 2023 recruiting cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
