Robbie Avila is done for the day in his season and collegiate debut with Saint Louis following an injury.

During the Billikens’ matchup with Santa Clara this afternoon, Avila went down with an injury to his right leg as he tweaked his ankle while making a pass in the lane. With that, two staff members helped him off of the court and he didn’t return to the game with just minutes left in the second half.

The Broncos would go on to take it by a final score of 85-78 in the game during the Field of 68 Showcase from Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Before his exit, Avila had scored 16 points, tied with two other players for second-most for the team, on 6-10 from the field while posting a team-high tying number of assists with six, five rebounds, two blocks, and a steal.
