2022 C Percy Daniels commits to Seton Hall
Baton Rouge (La.) Madison Prep Academy center Percy Daniels committed Sunday to Seton Hall.
Daniels stands at 6-foot-9 and is a consensus three-star recruit.
He held offers from Grambling State, LSU, McNeese State, Mississippi State, Southern, Southern Mississippi, TCU and Tulane.
He is the second commit in the class along with Edison (N.J.) St. Thomas Aquinas combo guard Jaquan Harris.
He is a two-time state champion for Madison Prep, helping the team win the title the last two seasons. He has also earned second-team All-State in both seasons.

Percy Daniels has Type A hemophilia, a genetic blood disorder. It means Daniels must be careful to avoid scraps or small cuts because they result in more bleeding than the average person. He takes injections twice a week to help.
“I’ve talked to his doctors, and they are amazed that he is able to play basketball,” Madison Prep Academy coach Jeff Jones told The Advocate in 2020. “Usually, a person with hemophilia can’t play any kind of contact sports, including basketball. But he does well with the injections, and the doctors are pleased.”
