After entering the NCAA transfer portal for a second time, former Arkansas defensive lineman Tank Booker has committed to SMU.

Booker will finish out his collegiate career with the Mustangs after spending the first four seasons of it at Maryland and last season with the Razorbacks.

With the Terps, Booker played in 30 games and made two starts recording 46 tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles. He transferred to Arkansas ahead of the 2023 season, where he appeared in all but one game for the Razorbacks making 19 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and half a sack.

Booker played high school football at Winton Woods in Cincinnati (OH), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 861 overall recruit in the 2019 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
