Class of 2024 offensive tackle Kam Pringle of Dorchester (SC) Woodland High announced his commitment to South Carolina Sunday afternoon.
The 6-foot-7, 325 pounder chose the Gamecocks over Clemson, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and NC State.
Pringle on why he chose South Carolina
“What really stood out to me about South Carolina is the people,” Pringle said. “All of the coaches always did a great job recruiting me and making me feel at home! The relationship never felt simulated or forced when it came to the program and the people in it. Another major factor for me is trusting in development. I feel that with the coaches that South Carolina has, that they have what it takes to coach guys up and make them the best players that they can be!”
What it means to stay home
“It’s honestly a blessing for me to be able to represent where I’m from and do it while being just over an hour away from where I grew up,” Pringle said. “It’s a great honor to wear South Carolina on my chest!”
