Oxford (Ala.) four-star EDGE Keenan Britt has committed to South Carolina, he announced on Saturday.
He chose the Gamecocks over Auburn, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Oregon.
Britt is the No. 276 overall prospect and No. 26 EDGE in the 2026 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 11 junior in Alabama.

The brother of former Auburn standout and NFL linebacker K.J. Britt, Keenan is coming off a monstrous sophomore campaign for Oxford High that witnessed 101 total tackles. Head coach Shane Beamer and the South Carolina staff have picked up a major recruiting win in the 2026 cycle.
Gamecocks add another piece to 2026 class
Britt visited Columbia at the end of July. He’s now the third commitment in the Gamecocks’ junior class, joining Newnan (Ga.) four-star linebacker Rodney Colton and Rock Hill (S.C.) South Pointe three-star interior offensive lineman Anthony Baxter. Colton ranks No. 33 overall in the 2026 On300.
