4-star safety Kendall Daniels commits to South Carolina Gamecocks
Norfolk (Va.) Maury four-star safety Kendall Daniels has committed to South Carolina, he announced Friday afternoon.
Daniels chose the Gamecocks over Miami, Alabama, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Texas A&M, Penn State, and Duke.
He officially visited Columbia near the end of June.
“It was a great weekend down there,” Daniels told GamecockCentral. “Bonding with the teammates. I had a great time in South Carolina. The bonding with the teammates (stands out), the culture, they’re all as one. I like how Coach Beamer got his program, how T-Gray runs stuff, and everything”

Daniels also detailed what would be important to him when making his decision.
“Really what’s important is like culture, like how I feel comfortable down there, how they can use me in the system, and mainly education,” Daniels said.
Daniels is the nation’s No. 285 overall prospect, No. 24 safety and No. 7 recruit from Virginia in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
