According to a report by ESPN’s Chris Low, South Carolina Gamecocks head coach Shane Beamer is going to be getting a large raise.
Shane Beamer is expected to get a raise to $6.5 million. That’s up from the $2.75 million he currently makes. There is a board meeting on Friday that would approve the deal.
In two seasons at South Carolina, Beamer has managed to turn around the fortunes of the program. He has a 15-11 record and finished his second season strong, with wins over Tennessee and Clemson, before playing a tight and competitive game against Notre Dame in the Gator Bowl.
