On300 4-star IOL Shed Sarratt commits to South Carolina
Gaffney (S.C.) four-star offensive lineman Shed Sarratt has committed to South Carolina.
He chose the Gamecocks over offers from Tennessee, Florida, Florida State, Missouri and nearly a dozen other programs. Sarratt was in town for South Carolina’s spring game on April 20 and came away very impressed by what he saw in Columbia.
“The atmosphere was amazing,” Sarratt told On3’s Steve Wiltfong. “I love how the coaches keep in touch. I love how it’s not that far from home.”
Along with being a little under two hours from home, one of the key reasons for Surratt’s commitment was how comfortable he feels in South Carolina’s program and scheme.
“The blocking schemes they run we run in high school so it wouldn’t be that new to me,” Sarratt said.
