The Gamecocks finished the season with an 8-4 record as one of the hottest teams in the nation with statement wins over Tennessee and Clemson, earning them a showdown on Dec. 30 against No. 21 Notre Dame in the Taxslayer Gator Bowl.
Beamer and the Gamecocks are certainly building up as one of the tougher opponents in the nation and in the SEC, and turning their stadium into a holiday light show is a special cap on the season for their fans.
