Shane Beamer and the South Carolina staff had a wild celebration for the commitment of five-star prospect Nyckoles Harbor.
Harbor made his decision official Wednesday when he committed to the Gamecocks. The five-star athlete was one of the top prospects nationwide and narrowed his decision leading up to his announcement.

It was a huge win for South Carolina and Beamer. According to On3’s Recruiting Prediction Machine, South Carolina was listed at 81.2% among his top choices.
Oregon, Maryland and Michigan were behind, with the Ducks leading the way at just 8.8%.
As a member of the Class of 2023, Harbor is a five-star prospect out of Washington D.C.’s Archbishop Carroll, according to the On3 Consensus. He is the No. 1 overall prospect in the D.C. area, the No. 1 athlete in the class and the No. 21 overall prospect in the class.
