The 6-foot-1, 197-pounder logged a pair of visits to Columbia this year in April and the end of May. He now becomes the latest Palmetto State product to pledge to Shane Beamer and Co.
“I want to thank all the colleges and coaches that recruited me. The decision was not easy, as all of the programs that offered me are great. After a lot of thought and talks with my parents, I am happy to announce my commitment to the University of South Carolina,” Holman wrote on X.

With Holman now in the fold, South Carolina has seven commitments in the 2025 cycle and a class that checks in at No. 25 in the nation and No. 12 in the SEC, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Chester (Va.) Thomas Dale four-star cornerback Shamari Earls committed on April 20 and headlines the class as the No. 103 overall prospect and No. 12 corner in the nation. He was one of five April pledges for the Gamecocks.
Concord (N.C.) Jay M Robinson four-star wide receiver Brian Rowe was the lone blue-chipper in the fold before Earls. He committed on April 9 and was followed by Abbeville (S.C.) three-star safety Damarcus Leach less than 24 hours later. Sumter (S.C.) three-star EDGE Anthony Addison then joined two days later on April 12.
“I love how they plan on using me,” Addison told On3 upon his commitment. “It is close to home. It is only 50 minutes, so I know all my family will be able to come and see me. Coach Beamer, he stayed on me. I know I am going somewhere where the head coach believes in me and believes in what I can do.”
Rowe, Addison and Chesterfield (Va.) Matoaca three-star defensive lineman Caleb Williams are all top-500 recruits. South Florence (S.C.) three-star WR Jayden Sellers has been pledged to the Gamecocks since October.
