South Carolina Gamecocks interior offensive lineman Jovaughn Gwyn is moving on from the program. Recently, from his social media account, Gwyn announced his decision to declare for the 2023 NFL Draft.

“First and foremost, I would like to thank God for providing me with the strength and guidance these last five years. It has truly been a blessing to be a part of the gamecock family… I would also like to thank the University of South Carolina. From the coaches: coach Wolf, coach Muschamp, coach Beamer, coach Teasley, and coach Adkins… I am forever grateful for these past five years of my life that will never be forgotten,” said Gwyn via Twitter.

“I’ve met a lot of phenomenal people in my college career that have become family. With that being said, I will be declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft.

Gwyn is a redshirt senior and has played throughout the interior of South Carolina’s offensive line. Over his five years with the Gamecocks, he has played in a total of 49 games, starting in 47. The majority of Gwyn’s starts came at the right guard position.
