“I ultimately chose Stanford because of the opportunities it presents outside of basketball and because of the opportunity to come and make an immediate impact,” Crawford said to On3. “The coaching staff is also amazing. Coach Hasse and the staff are amazing people and those are the people I want to surround myself around to become a more mature ball player and mature young man. I also took into consideration that a Stanford degree holds huge weight and can open many doors for me, whenever I do stop dribbling the ball.”
In his own words, what type of player is Stanford getting in Elijah Crawford?
“I would describe my game as a crafty guard who play makes, not only for myself but for my teammates as well. I can score it really well but when I need too I can slow it down control the pace and make that extra pass.”
He has a message for Cardinal fans.
“Stanford fans let’s work, you guys got a dawg coming!!!!”
