Slinger (Wis.) interior offensive lineman Charlie Hoitink announced his commitment to Stanford on Thursday. He chose the Cardinal over offers from Boston College, Indiana and Iowa State among others.

Hoitink is not ranked in the 2025 On3 Industry Ranking. He is 6-foot-4 and weighs 305 pounds.

Hoitink is the first member of the Cardinal’s 2025 recruiting class. He did not visit the Cardinal ahead of his decision.

However, Hoitink has stopped by multiple schools throughout his recruitment. They include Wisconsin (Nov. 26/Oct. 22), Rutgers (Nov. 19), Boston College (Nov. 4), Notre Dame (Sept. 10), Minnesota (Oct. 1) and Illinois (Oct. 8).

Stanford is heading into its first season under new head coach Troy Taylor. He succeeded David Shaw, who stepped down following the 2022 season.

Both Stanford’s 2024 and 2025 classes contain one prospect. West Bloomfield (Mich.) three-star cornerback Jamir Benjamin chose the Cardinal on Nov. 26.
