Coveted Kansas City wideout Mudia Reuben commits to Stanford
Decision day has come for Riverside (Mo.) Park Hill South receiver Mudia Reuben.
The coveted star receiver from the Kansas City area announced on social media Thursday night that he had committed to the Stanford Cardinal.
Reuben, who is 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds, was down to Stanford, Vanderbilt and Kansas State. But in reality, the final decision was between the Cardinal and local Wildcats.
He took official visits to all three schools. But it was official visits to Stanford on Oct. 2 that helped him come to a final decision. The visit to Stanford couldn’t have come at a more perfect time. The Cardinal beat Oregon the weekend when he was on campus.
“It was fun,” Reuben said. “It was a great environment. (Stanford) beating Oregon amped up the whole visit, that is for sure.”
Reuben also raved about the overall academic package from Stanford. But he also enjoyed the whole scene and setting in Palo Alto. He called the campus “different” and “unlike anything he had ever seen before.”
