Elite 2023 defensive lineman Peter Woods picks up Stanford offer

Stanford has extended an offer to Alabaster (Ala.) Thompson four-star defensive lineman Peter Woods.

Peter Woods is currently the No. 20 overall recruit in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

He has an On3 NIL Valuation of $23,000. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.

On3 rates him slightly higher at No. 16 overall in the 2023 On300 ranking and as the second-best player in the state of Alabama.

Haslet (Texas) Eaton four-star tight end Jaden Platt is the lone Cardinal commit in the 2023 class.

Woods has previously released a top six of Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Georgia and Oregon.
