2023 WR Jackson Harris commits to Stanford
Berkeley (Calif.) wide receiver Jackson Harris has announced his commitment to Stanford. His decision comes after Cardinal head coach David Shaw stepped down from his position on Saturday.
Harris is unranked in the 2023 On3 Consensus and the 2023 On300. He is 6-foot-3 and 195 pounds.
In addition to Stanford, the 6-foot-3, 195-pound wideout received four other offers. They were from California, Eastern Michigan, UNLV and Utah.
The Cardinal’s 2023 recruiting class now contains 14 commitments. Stanford’s group is led by American Fork (Utah) four-star EDGE Hunter Clegg, the No. 217 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.
However, Folsom (Calif.) four-star tight end Walker Lyons backed off his pledge to the program on Monday morning. Lyons is the No. 128 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

Stanford’s class consists of five four-stars, eight three-stars and one unranked prospect. The Cardinal now rank No. 28 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 3 in the Pac-12.
Harris is the third wide receiver currently committed to Stanford. The others are Bainbridge (Ga.) Robert F. Munroe Day School three-star Ahmari Borden and Murrieta (Calif.) Murrieta Valley three-star Tiger Bachmeier.
Harris has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
