Stanford forward Cameron Brink declares for the 2024 WNBA Draft
On Tuesday, Stanford standout Cameron Brink announced she will be declaring for the 2024 WNBA Draft. She has spent four seasons with the Cardinal.
“My four years at Stanford have been nothing short of life changing,” Brink wrote. “I cannot begin to express my love for everyone I’ve met and everything I’ve learned in Palo Alto. To Tara and all my coaches – your patience, belief, and support have shaped me into the player and person I am today.
“Thank you to all my trainers, support staff, amazing teammates, friends, and fans that have made this all worth it along the way. I am beyond lucky to be surrounded by so many special people. To my family and especially my parents – who would’ve thought that basketball would bring me the wonders it has. I attribute every ounce of success to your guidance and unconditional love. You are who I do it for every single day.
“I am excited to announce that I will be declaring for the 2024 WNBA Draft. Although I am excited for that next chapter, we still have unfinished business and so much to accomplish in my final season at Stanford. Lastly, to all the young girls out there, thank you for all your support. I believe in all of you like you’ve believed in me. Most importantly, you are loved. You got this!”
Brink will complete the 2023-24 season before preparing for the draft. Stanford is currently the No. 4 team in the country and expected to be a one-seed in the upcoming NCAA Tournament. The team was on a five-game win streak before falling to USC in the Pac-12 Tournament Championship.

Brink is averaging 17.8 points and 12 rebounds per game this season while shooting 51.2% from the floor. In her career, Brink has boosted Stanford to two conference tournament crowns, three regular season titles and a national championship.
For her efforts, she has been named the Pac-12 Player of the year once and Pac-12 Defensive Player of the Year on three separate seasons. Brink has also reeled in All-American honors every season after her freshman campaign.
ESPN’s Michael Voepel projected Cameron Brink to be the No. 2 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft last week, only placing her behind Iowa’s Caitlin Clark. The 2024 WNBA Draft will take place on April 15.
