Washington defensive back Jaivion Green has committed to Stanford out of the NCAA transfer portal, he announced on Twitter on Sunday evening.

Over two seasons with the Huskies, Green has amassed 17 total tackles and two passes defended for Washington.

Jaivion Green played high school football at Lamar (TX), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 1576 overall recruit in the 2022 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

As a recruit, Green drew interest from a bevy of fascinating schools, but Washington won out over most notably Utah. Perhaps the Utes will make a call to the defensive back as he moves on with his football journey.
