Yale transfer wide receiver David Pantelis committed to the Stanford Cardinal on Sunday, according to On3’s Pete Nakos. He was also considering Missouri and Michigan in the portal.

In the 2024 campaign, he hauled in 61 catches for 901 yards and eight touchdowns. The 5-foot-11, 200-pound slot receiver was a first team All-Ivy League selection this season. In the portal, he garnered plenty of Power Four interest, fielding offers from Stanford, Missouri, Michigan, West Virginia, and California.

In 2023, he missed time due to injury, ranking third on the team with 13 receptions. He also hauled in 125 receiving yards. Pantelis snagged a season-high four catches in road wins against Brown and Princeton. In 2022, he hauled in 39 catches and 518 receiving yards, leading the team in both categories.

In 2021, he played in eight games, specializing in both kick returns and kick returns. Pantelis was named the Special Teams Player and Rookie of the Week after a 63-38 win over Brown on Nov. 6. He racked up 205 all-purpose yards, two touchdowns, and guided Yale to their most points scored since the 1930 season.

For his college career thus far, he’s hauled in 1,778 career receiving yards and 17 total touchdowns.

In high school, Pantelis played his football and basketball at Upper St. Clair, where he was an all-state first team wide receiver. He became the single-season record holder with 77 catches for 1,169 receiving yards. Pantelis was a single-game record holder with 273 receiving yards. He also hauled in a career-best 2,207 receiving yards for the Panthers.

The Yale standout played wideout and defensive back during his three seasons in high school, hauling in 148 catches, 20 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. A dynamic athlete, Pantelis finished with a conference title in football and two conference championships in basketball.

Stanford finished with a 3-9 overall record in the 2024 campaign, ranking them 14th in the ACC. They’ll look to bounce back in the 2025 campaign.
