4-star OT Ziron Brown commits to Stanford Cardinal
Bay Saint Louis (Miss.) Bay four-star offensive tackle Ziron Brown has committed to the Stanford Cardinal. He announced the news on Twitter.
He picked the Cardinal over Georgia Tech, Louisiana, Missouri and Tulane.
The 6-foot-4, 295-pounder is the No. 373 overall prospect and No. 26 offensive tackle in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 12 player in Mississippi.
On3 rates Brown higher than other recruiting services, according to the Industry Comparison. Per the 2024 On300, he is the No. 202 overall prospect, No. 18 offensive tackle and the No. 4 player in Mississippi.
Stanford got involved later in Brown’s recruitment extending him an offer on May 24.
With Brown’s pledge, he becomes Stanford’s 25th commitment in its 2024 recruiting class. The class ranks No. 16 in the country and No. 2 in the Pac-12.
Stanford’s 2024 class is well ahead of where it finished during the 2023 cycle. They only signed 18 players and finished with the No. 42 class in the country

June has been Stanford’s strongest month on the recruiting trail as a majority of their class has been built in the last few weeks including all five of their four-star commitments.
Stanford’s four other four-star pledges are Santa Ana (Calif.) Mater Dei quarterback Elijah Brown, Miami (Fla.) Christopher Columbus High School EDGE Dylan Stephenson, Oakland (Calif.) Fremont Senior linebacker Naki Tuakoi and Rancho Santa Margarita (Calif.) Santa Margarita Catholic wide receiver Emmett Mosley.

The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
