2025 DL Haleem Muhammad commits to Syracuse Orange
Pennington (N.J.) three-star defensive lineman Haleem Muhammad committed to the Syracuse Orange on Saturday afternoon, he announced on Instagram.
Muhammad is the nation’s No. 446 overall prospect, No. 37 defensive lineman and No. 15 recruit from New Jersey in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He is the 15th prospect to join Syracuse’s 2025 commit list as new head coach Fran Brown is off to a hot start in his first full recruiting class.
Six 2025 recruits have pledged to the Orange in April along with Muhammad: West Orange (N.J.) three-star wide receiver Terrell Wilfong, Philadelphia La Salle College three-star wide receiver Julian McFadden, Syracuse (N.Y.) Christian Brothers three-star offensive tackle Matthew Hawn, Roanoke (Va.) William Fleming running back Malachi Coleman and Syracuse (N.Y.) Cicero-North offensive tackle Kardiear Shepherd.
