2025 WR Terrell Wilfong commits to Syracuse Orange
West Orange (N.J.) three-star wide receiver Terrell Wilfong has committed to the Syracuse Orange, he announced Thursday afternoon.
“Words can’t explain how blessed I am to be in this position to become a part of the historical Syracuse University, I am beyond grateful and blessed,” Wilfong wrote.
Wilfong is the nation’s No. 476 overall prospect, No. 76 wide receiver and No. 16 recruit from New Jersey in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
He is the 14th prospect to join Syracuse’s 2025 commit list as new head coach Fran Brown is off to a hot start in his first full recruiting class.

Five 2025 recruits have pledged to the Orange in April along with Wilfong: Philadelphia La Salle College three-star wide receiver Julian McFadden, Syracuse (N.Y.) Christian Brothers three-star offensive tackle Matthew Hawn, Roanoke (Va.) William Fleming running back Malachi Coleman and Syracuse (N.Y.) Cicero-North offensive tackle Kardiear Shepherd.
Syracuse (N.Y.) Christian Brothers three-star wideout Darien Williams and Cheltenham (Pa.) three-star EDGE Sharlandiin Strange headline the class.
Brown’s staff picked up a big-time 2026 prospect earlier this week, landing 2026 four-star safety Izayia Williams. Williams ranks No. 49 overall and is the No. 5 safety in the 2026 On300.
